Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009

Another year has flown by and time to once again soak up the unique atmosphere that is FoS.

Heading straight to the supercar paddock the Zonda R held my attention the most, only because I had already seen a Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce the week before. Another highlight there was the GTbyCitreon concept car which held its own despite the prestigious company it was keeping. There was also the Frazer-nash car which I really liked, but kept reminding me of a modern KITT with the multitude of screens by the steering wheel.

The rally stage was again excellent, but seemed lacking in many modern cars. I also got trapped in there for some of the hill climbs, so I only really managed to catch the supercars doing their thing on the hill.

Next year I will try and find a time table of the runs so I can catch more of the hill climbs and I might also take the family along on the weekend.
